("Bestemming X" on VTM in Belgium) One of the most popular shows in the current trend of strategy and deception, which includes formats such as "Les Traîtres" that aired last summer on M6 in France. "Destination X" is a Flemish Belgian show created by Geronimo and first aired in February on the VTM channel.
It follows 10 contestants who travel by bus without knowing their destination. Throughout the journey, the contestants and viewers are misled about the location of the bus, and clues are regularly given to help participants understand their whereabouts. At the end of each episode, the contestant who places their marker on the map furthest from the actual location of the bus must leave the game. The format has been purchased by NBCUniversal for adaptation in the United States and by the BBC for adaptation in the United Kingdom.
