At this year's Tax Free World Association (TFWA) event, the spirit of camaraderie and inclusivity took center stage during the Wheelchair Rugby Tournament. Organized by mindset and supported by Puressentiel, the City of Cannes, TFWA, and media partners TRBusiness and DFNI, this tournament was a testament to the power of sports in bringing people together.
The friendly matches of wheelchair rugby and blind football were orchestrated by Stade Toulousain Handisport and mindset at Gymnase Capron in Cannes. Participants from different backgrounds and abilities collaborated to demonstrate the significance of effective communication in achieving victory. Teamwork, combined with heightened physical and sensory awareness, played pivotal roles in the success of the event.
Furthermore, the tournament received generous backing from Cyprus Duty Free, Haribo, and Lagardère Travel Retail. TFWA, showing its commitment to the cause, made a charitable donation of €5,000. This event not only promoted the spirit of inclusivity but also showcased how sports can serve as a powerful tool for fostering unity and understanding among individuals of diverse abilities.
