The Afronova Pavilion returns to Cannes for its 7th edition

On the occasion of the upcoming edition of the Marché du Film in Cannes, the Afronova Pavilion will make its highly anticipated return for a 7th edition focused on connection, creativity, and international cooperation.

Located at the heart of the Village International, the pavilion has established itself as a key space dedicated to African and diasporic cultural and audiovisual industries.

A hub for exchange and collaboration

Over ten days, Afronova will bring together leading figures from Africa, its diaspora, and the rest of the world. The aim is to foster exchanges between film professionals, producers, directors, distributors, and investors.

The pavilion positions itself as a strategic platform to encourage international co-productions and to spotlight emerging talent from across the African continent.

Showcasing African creative industries

Afronova will highlight the richness and diversity of African creative industries through:

  • professional meetings
  • thematic panels
  • networking sessions
  • audiovisual project presentations

This dynamic helps strengthen the visibility of African productions on the international stage, particularly within one of the most influential film markets in the world.

Cannes, a global crossroads for cinema

As part of the prestigious Marché du Film, Afronova benefits from exceptional exposure to key players in the global film industry.

Cannes thus reaffirms its role as a major crossroads where the future collaborations of international cinema take shape.

An edition looking to the future

This 7th edition promises to be a highlight for cultural and economic exchanges between continents. By fostering connections between African talent and international partners, Afronova contributes to building a more inclusive and interconnected audiovisual ecosystem.
