Emirati Women Leaders Applaud UAE Achievements in Advancing Gender Equality: On the occasion of Emirati Women’s Day, several accomplished Emirati female leaders have commended the UAE leadership for its success in empowering women and fostering gender parity across various sectors.
Parvin Mansoor, Senior Manager of Development at IMKAN Properties, expressed gratitude to the UAE government for its unwavering commitment to empowering Emirati women. Mansoor emphasized the government's role in prioritizing the advancement of women, acknowledging the significant contributions of Emirati women to the nation's workforce and economy. With over 12 years of experience in the construction industry, Mansoor highlighted the dynamic and inclusive nature of her work environment, noting the increasing presence of women in the industry.
Duaa Hassan, Senior Human Capital Manager at the National Petroleum Construction Company, credited the UAE's leadership for leading the MENA region in gender equality. Hassan emphasized the opportunities provided for women to work on-site, manage major projects, and hold leadership positions. She attributed these achievements to the visionary approach of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, highlighting his commitment to empowering Emirati women through education and political participation.
Amani Thabet, Arabic & Culture Specialist at Ford Direct Markets, shared her pride in being a young female Emirati working in the automotive industry. Thabet, a cultural ambassador for Ford, described her role in promoting Arabic culture within a global company. She celebrated the increasing representation of Emirati women in various industries and encouraged others to pursue their dreams.
Dr. Dalya Al Muthanna, President and CEO of GE Gulf, acknowledged the special significance of this year's Emirati Women's Day in light of the nation's success in addressing the global pandemic. She highlighted the pivotal role played by women in various spheres, from the Mars Hope Probe mission to frontline service during the COVID-19 crisis.
