Ahmed ben Mohammed Meets Sultan Al Neyadi and Commends His Historic Mission Success
Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed ben Mohammed ben Rashid Al Maktoum, the Second Vice-Sovereign of Dubai and President of the Dubai Media Council, met with Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi today, extending his congratulations on the successful completion of his historic mission, "Zayed's Ambition 2," the longest-ever Arab space mission. His Highness hailed this national achievement as a source of pride for all Emiratis and Arabs, emphasizing the remarkable potential of our youth to make a difference, as the Arab civilization has always been an inspiration to the world through its accomplishments.
His Highness considered Sultan Al Neyadi's accomplishment as an honorable and inspiring model for the nation's youth, symbolizing the ambitions of the people of the United Arab Emirates. This historic mission has significantly contributed to strengthening the UAE's efforts in the space sector, attracting global attention and benefiting the worldwide scientific community. His Highness highlighted that our nation's progress and advancement depend on the ability of its people to achieve success, thereby solidifying its position among the world's forward-thinking nations.
In response, Sultan Al Neyadi emphasized that the support of wise leaders serves as motivation for every young man and woman in the UAE to pursue their ambitions and strive to play a tangible role in advancing the nation and elevating its standing in various fields. He expressed great pride in the continuous motivation and encouragement he received from the wise leaders and the people of the UAE throughout his historic six-month journey to the International Space Station.
