Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Discusses Bilateral Relations with Albanian Prime Minister
His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, held discussions with His Excellency Edi Rama, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, on ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and foster friendly relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Albania, to serve the mutual interests of both countries and their amicable peoples.
This meeting took place during the reception of the Albanian Prime Minister in the capital city of Tirana. His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in Albania today for a working visit.
During the meeting, His Highness conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the State, may God protect him, and his well-wishes for the Republic of Albania, its leaders, government, and people, for progress and prosperity.
His Highness commended the positive growth in the economic, investment, and trade aspects of the relationship between the two countries since the signing of the "Economic Cooperation Agreement" between the United Arab Emirates and Albania in 2020. He emphasized the significance of broadening the scope of joint cooperation and exploring investment opportunities in various vital sectors, such as energy, infrastructure, tourism, and other areas of common interest.
His Highness emphasized that the United Arab Emirates consistently underscores that peace and stability are the fundamental pillars of development and economic growth. Strengthening security and stability in the region and the world is an essential element of their policy aimed at achieving sustainable development and prosperity for all.
The meeting was attended by the delegation accompanying His Highness, including Her Excellency Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation, His Excellency Ahmed Jassim Al Zaabi, President of the Department of Economic Development of Abu Dhabi, His Excellency Mohammed Al Abbar, Chairman of the Board of Eagle Hills Abu Dhabi, and several government officials.
