Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Discusses Bilateral Relations with Albanian Prime Minister
Tirana / His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, held talks with His Excellency Edi Rama, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, on ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and friendship between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Albania, in a manner that serves the common interests of both nations and their friendly peoples.
This occurred during the reception of the Albanian Prime Minister in the capital, Tirana. His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in Albania today for a working visit.
During the meeting, His Highness conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the State, may God protect him, and his best wishes for the Republic of Albania, its leaders, government, and people in achieving progress and prosperity.
His Highness praised the positive growth of relations between the two countries in economic, investment, and trade aspects since the signing of the "Economic Cooperation Agreement" between the United Arab Emirates and Albania in 2020. He emphasized the importance of expanding the scope of joint cooperation and exploring investment opportunities available in various vital sectors, such as energy, infrastructure, tourism, and other areas of common interest.
His Highness stressed that the United Arab Emirates consistently emphasizes that peace and stability are the fundamental pillars of development and economic growth. Strengthening security and stability in the region and the world is an essential element of their policy aimed at achieving sustainable development and prosperity for all.
The meeting was attended by the delegation accompanying His Highness, which includes Her Excellency Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation, His Excellency Ahmed Jassim Al Zaabi, President of the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi, His Excellency Mohammed Al Abbar, Chairman of the Board of Eagle Hills Abu Dhabi, and several government officials.
