The Global Government Summit Establishes an Intellectual Partnership with the Global India Forum

Dubai, September 20 - The Global Government Summit has unveiled a new intellectual partnership with the Global India Forum, enabling the forum to join the elite ranks of knowledge partners for summits worldwide. This collaboration aims to enrich the summit's agenda with distinctive intellectual content, specializing in topics such as emerging trends, challenges, opportunities related to emerging economies, solutions for building flexible, future-ready governments, and more.

The announcement of this new partnership came during a meeting attended by His Excellency Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Applications, and Deputy Chairman of the Global Government Summit Foundation. The meeting included the signing of a partnership agreement between both parties, with the signatories being Mohammed Yousuf Al Sharhan, Director of the Global Government Summit Foundation, and Professor Manoj Ladwa, Chairman and CEO of the Global India Forum.

The intellectual partnership agreement between the Global Government Summit Foundation and the Global India Forum aims to provide fresh knowledge perspectives by supervising and exploring the potential and opportunities of emerging economies. It also addresses the significant challenges they face in keeping pace with global future developments and equipping them with the necessary tools to build flexible, future-ready governments capable of facing future challenges.

Mohammed Al Sharhan emphasized the vital role that intellectual partnerships play in the Global Government Summit Foundation's mission, which is built on encouraging international cooperation aimed at shaping the future and preempting challenges that the world faces across various fields. He noted that this new intellectual partnership with the Global India Forum is part of the foundation's efforts to enhance the summit's content and agenda, infusing it with a fresh perspective to shape the future and empower the next generation of governments.

He stated that the Global Government Summit seeks, through its international partnerships, to strengthen its role as a platform for governments, entrepreneurs, international organizations, research institutions, experts, and stakeholders from various sectors. This platform allows them to share their innovative knowledge and experiences and design future-oriented pathways to meet anticipated challenges, making the world a better place for future generations.

On the other hand, Professor Manoj Ladwa, Chairman and CEO of the Global India Forum, said, "The G20 Summit in New Delhi underscored the urgent need for concerted efforts in the global South to develop sustainable infrastructures and inclusive economies. The intellectual partnership between the Global India Forum and the Global Government Summit Foundation aims to launch a groundbreaking program for emerging economies that will directly address future aspirations. This unique partnership will consolidate the experiences and expertise of both parties to unlock the boundless potential of emerging economies worldwide."

He further added that the two parties will work on enhancing thought leadership and developing research on trends, challenges, and opportunities related to emerging economies. This initiative will strengthen the data repository associated with the region, which future governments can leverage in shaping the future.

As part of this partnership, the two parties will release a series of reports and research articles for the "Observer," the knowledge platform of the Global Government Summit, which has already published up to 120 reports, engaging over six million interested individuals worldwide. The intellectual partnership will significantly enrich the agenda of the Global Government Summit in 2024, with specialized topics in areas like accelerating development, governance, the future of societies and healthcare, economic resilience and communication, global city design and sustainability, among others.
