A summer filled with laughter in Juan-les-Pins
This summer, the pine forest of Juan-les-Pins, renowned for its enchanting seaside setting, will host the first edition of the “Humor on the Beach” festival from July 3 to 5, 2024. Get ready for three days of laughter and entertainment with a prestigious lineup of comedians.
An iconic venue for a unique festival
Located in the heart of the French Riviera, the pine forest of Juan-les-Pins, already famous for its summer Jazz festival, will transform into a vibrant comedy stage with “Humor on the Beach.” The idyllic setting, under the pines and facing the endless blue of the Mediterranean, will welcome some of the biggest names in French comedy.
A program full of laughter and a special gala captured for TF1
The program includes family-friendly activities such as masterclasses, and a relocated Fridge Comedy Club featuring local young talents. Kev Adams will orchestrate two grand gala evenings in the stunning pine forest setting. The master of ceremonies will be joined by fellow comedians, including French comedy stars like Franck Dubosc, Nawell Madani, Jarry, Booder, Chantal Ladesou, Hakim Jemili, and the new generation: Laurie Péret, David Voinson, and Ilyes Djadel. This evening, promising numerous surprises, will be filmed for a prime-time special on TF1, co-produced by Adams Family and DMLS TV (Banijay).
A festival inspired by Kev Adams’ childhood memories
Kev Adams’ childhood dream, nurtured in the magnificent alleys of the pine forest of Juan-les-Pins where he spent his summers with his grandparents, inspired the creation of “Humor on the Beach.” This festival is more than just an event; it’s the realization of a dream.
“I remember hearing the jazz festival concerts, seeing the stage set up in the pine forest, and I always promised myself that if I could create a comedy festival, I would do it here to showcase this jewel of the Côte d’Azur to as many people as possible,” says Kev Adams.
Juan-les-Pins: a cradle of culture and history
Beyond its idyllic setting, Juan-les-Pins, adjacent to the old town of Antibes, boasts a rich cultural and touristic history. Since the early 20th century, it has been a favorite destination for illustrious artists like Scott Fitzgerald and Pablo Picasso, intellectuals, and celebrities such as Jayne Mansfield and Edith Piaf, all charmed by its golden beaches and refined ambiance. Even today, the Bay of Billionaires is a sought-after destination for stars, drawn by the beauty of the coast and its inspiring atmosphere. The city continues to shine as a center of culture and entertainment, providing a perfect backdrop for a major festival like “Humor on the Beach.”
