A Unique Dining Experience at Iconic
A Unique Dining Experience at Iconic

Nestled within the Hilton Hotel, a new restaurant promises seafood enthusiasts the opportunity to select their fish and how it's prepared, all while enjoying a drink in hand. Located on the fifth and top floor of Iconic, Pesca's future signature restaurant boasts unparalleled views of Raimbaldi and Jean-Médecin from its distinctive terrace.

A few weeks ago, a site tour was conducted with Karine Journo, wife of the president of La Compagnie de Phalsbourg, who meticulously oversaw the interior architecture, furniture selection, and decor details, including those for the luxurious Hilton 4-star "plus" hotel, featuring 105 chic and cozy modular rooms and suites spread over three levels. Some offer views of Thiers, while others overlook Mathis Avenue and the Provence Railway Station.

Oyster Bar and Wine Lounge

The restaurant is integrated into part of the hotel, with its lounge located in the heart of the space. It begins with a reception area adorned in polished blue mirror, adjacent to two meeting rooms and a small gym, pending the completion of the Metropolitan complex. "Pesca is a foreign concept utilizing local products," explains Karine Journo. "The first of its kind was established in Amsterdam. It operates as a fish market where patrons choose from a selection of fresh seafood daily, with options to have their selection cooked in one of three styles, all while enjoying a glass of wine in cinema-style armchairs."

In addition to the fish market, "there will also be an oyster bar and wine lounge to complement the seafood ordered."

Opening in June

While still under construction, the establishment aims to evoke a dolce vita atmosphere, with softer, more fluid designs than its angular exterior. "Colors will range from blue to green, transitioning through beige." How many seats? "Approximately a hundred covers, including a massive 8-meter-long communal table, high tables, and elevated sofas." Price range: €30-50 per person.

Opening in June, the venue promises to deliver an immersive dining experience, combining exquisite seafood with a relaxed and elegant ambiance.
