Saudi Film Confex Set to Make Debut in Riyadh in October
Riyadh - The Saudi Film Commission is gearing up for the inaugural edition of the Saudi Film Confex, a significant industry event set to take place in Riyadh from October 1 to 4 at BLVD Expo. This four-day conference and exhibition will lay the groundwork for the future of Saudi Arabia film industry and is poised to attract prominent figures from the global film community, including filmmakers, producers, directors, investors, and media representatives.
The Saudi Film Confex is designed around pillars that bolster activities and interests within the Kingdom, with the overarching aim of elevating the industry presence and highlighting the economic value of the film sector.
The event will feature a diverse array of participants showcasing their services and innovations, coupled with curated workshops and six interactive zones. Covering an expansive 40,000 square meters of exhibition space, the venue will accommodate over 100 exhibitors and host 50 keynote speakers. The conference will delve into three main themes: industry trends, global practices, and challenges and opportunities in filmmaking. Over the course of three days, meticulously crafted workshops will provide practical training sessions led by specialists across the film industry value chain.
The Saudi Film Confex will be organized around six distinct 'zones,' each representing various facets of the industry:
