Mipcom TV Market welcomed over 11,000 participants from 100+ countries, marking its third consecutive year of growth. There was a notable increase in the number of buyers, with 3,567 attending, a 10% rise from the previous year. The event showcased the thriving third-party distribution sector, demonstrating the coexistence and success of various platforms within the industry.

The U.S. had the highest number of participants, followed by the U.K., France, Germany, and Spain. China, the country of honor, had its largest delegation since 2019, with over 300 participants from 40 companies. The Middle East also saw increased attendance, with 160 buyers, a 50% increase from 2022. Certain regions in Africa, particularly South Africa and Nigeria, experienced notable growth.

The market featured 320 exhibition stands, with several new exhibitors, including those from the FAST and tech-related sectors. Notable market announcements included the international rollout of Max and Eva Longoria and Cris Abrego's Hyphenate. In 2024, Mipcom will take place from October 21-24, with a pre-opening weekend for MipJunior on October 19-20, and an option to start on October 18.
