United Arab Emirates Launches Field Hospital for Afghan Earthquake Victims in Herat

Abu Dhabi, October 14 - In line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, "may God protect him," the Joint Operations Command of the Ministry of Defense has announced the commencement of a humanitarian mission in the Herat region of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. This mission aims to provide essential assistance to the Afghan population affected by the significant earthquake that struck the region.

An on-site field hospital was established early this morning to aid the affected individuals. Along with medical supplies and medications, the facility will offer necessary healthcare and perform advanced surgical procedures for the injured.

This humanitarian aid falls within the United Arab Emirates' humanitarian role, which involves extending a helping hand to those affected and distressed worldwide and addressing urgent humanitarian issues.
