Dubai Tourism and Huawei Forge Partnership to Boost Traveler Experience: Dubai's Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) and Huawei Consumer Business Group (CBG) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate in promoting Dubai as the premier tourist destination for travelers from the Middle East, Africa, and China.

The MoU was formalized in the presence of Mr. Issam Kazim, CEO of Dubai Tourism, and Mr. Gene Jiao, President of HUAWEI CBG, Middle East and Africa. The strategic partnership aims to leverage the strengths of both entities in various initiatives. According to the terms of the MoU, Huawei will collaborate with DTCM to raise awareness of Dubai's rich local culture and heritage across the Middle East, Africa, and China. Huawei will disseminate Dubai Tourism information, including images, videos, events details, and online booking/order services to cater to the needs of travelers, including tourists, businessmen, and residents, ensuring a seamless and convenient online experience in Dubai.

Expressing his commitment, Mr. Issam Kazim, CEO of Dubai Tourism, stated, "We are dedicated to elevating Dubai as the preferred destination for global travelers and actively seek opportunities to engage new audiences. This partnership with Huawei will play a pivotal role in achieving our goal by enhancing awareness of Dubai's unique attractions, such as local culture and heritage, gastronomy, retail, entertainment, and adventure, among travelers in the Middle East, Africa, and China. The collaboration aims to provide next-generation experiences that inspire people to choose Dubai as their destination and encourage return visits."

Mr. Gene Jiao, President of HUAWEI CBG, Middle East and Africa, emphasized Huawei's shared vision with Dubai, stating, "At Huawei, we share Dubai's commitment to continuous innovation. The MoU underscores our joint vision with DTCM to position Dubai as a global business and leisure hub. This partnership will redefine the traveler experience in Dubai through cutting-edge technology and service excellence."

As part of the collaboration, users will gain access to Dubai images from DTCM's photo bank as online themes and screen locks in Huawei devices. Additionally, DTCM and Huawei will collaborate to develop built-in features in Huawei EMUI OS, enhancing tourists' ability to explore Dubai in a more intelligent and user-friendly manner.

The partnership is expected to enhance Dubai's offerings across various facets, including events, attractions, infrastructure, and services, catering to the diverse needs of the city's travelers.
