Dubai Public Prosecutor Issues Ban on Sharing Information about Child Death

Dubai Public Prosecutor, His Excellency Counselor Essam Issa Al-Humaidan, issued a decision on Thursday to prohibit the trading or dissemination of any information or images related to the incident of a child's death in the seventh grade, taking into consideration the circumstances and feelings of the deceased's family.

This ban extends to all forms of media, including print, audio, visual, and social media, whether by natural or legal persons. The decision also prohibits expressing opinions or commenting on the incident until the final disposition of the case.

This decision comes in response to the circulation of inaccurate information about the incident on social media platforms. His Excellency the Public Prosecutor emphasized that such matters cause concern and turmoil in society and expose anyone who publishes or shares them to legal accountability, in the interest of the public good.
