Bulgari Grand Entry: Lavish Rome Hotel with a Stunning 300m² Suite

The highly-anticipated Bulgari hotel in Italy now has an official opening date. Following the recent debut of a sophisticated hotel complex in Japan, the esteemed Italian brand is now turning its focus to a place of significant meaning—Rome, its birthplace. On June 9th, the luxury powerhouse will inaugurate its ninth hotel at 10 Piazza Augusto Imperatore, nestled in the heart of the Campo Marzio district.

This establishment in Italy, and particularly in Rome, signifies a return to roots for Bulgari, deviating from its previous strategy of global expansion. The hotel will find its home in a historic building designed by architect Vittorio Ballio Morpurgo and erected during the 1940s. Housing 114 rooms and suites, the structure is adorned with colors and inspirations drawn from the Eternal City. Bulgari pays homage to Rome's rich heritage, weaving references to the reign of Emperor Augustus into the very fabric of the establishment.

A design that skillfully intertwines the past and present Continuing their tradition, the Milanese architectural firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel is at the helm of the hotel's design, skillfully merging historical elements with modernity. The Roman heritage is palpable in both the exterior and interior designs of the building. The 114 rooms are meticulously adorned in one of four colors: white, yellow, red, and green. Every decorative aspect is thoughtfully considered, from the use of materials such as marble to the Bulgari-patterned tapestries. The Bulgari Suite, an epitome of opulence within the hotel, sprawls across 300 square meters, offering one of the most captivating views of the city. Furnished with pieces from Flexform and Maxalto and featuring bespoke tapestries from the esteemed manufacturer Rubelli, the suite showcases the pinnacle of ultra-luxury.

In addition to the sumptuous suites and rooms, the hotel boasts cutting-edge amenities and facilities, promising guests a holistic wellness experience. The 1500-square-meter Bulgari Spa includes a 25-meter indoor pool and nine rooms offering exclusive and innovative body and mind treatments. A dedicated fitness area, featuring a training method exclusively designed for Bulgari, is also available. To round out the experience, the hotel features a range of restaurants such as Il Ristorante-Niko and Romito, or La Terrazza, catering to diverse culinary preferences.

Bulgari Hotels & Resorts is poised to expand further, with plans for the opening of three additional hotel complexes in the near future, set to grace Miami, Los Angeles, and the Maldives.
