Hamdan bin Zayed Attends the Closing Day of the First Al Dhafra Camel Racing Festival
Al Dhafra, October 15 - His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the representative of the sovereign in the Al Dhafra region, attended the conclusion of the competitions at the inaugural Al Dhafra Camel Racing Festival. This event took place under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the State, "may God protect him."
The festival, organized by the Emirates Camel Racing Federation at the Madinat Zayed Racecourse in the Al Dhafra region, also saw the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, advisor to the President of the State, and the President of the Emirates Camel Racing Federation, Sheikh Yas bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, along with Sheikh Hamdan bin Shakhbout bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, His Excellency Ahmed Matar Al Dhaheri, the Chief of the Office of the Representative of the Sovereign in the Al Dhafra region, His Excellency Nasser Mohammed Al Mansouri, the Undersecretary of the Office of the Representative of the Sovereign in the Al Dhafra region, and several other high-ranking officials.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan closely followed various aspects of the festival, held under the patronage of His Highness and in the presence of tribal leaders, camel sports enthusiasts, and citizens from Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasized the commitment of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the State, "may God protect him," to support all cultural and sporting events in the country, including the inaugural Al Dhafra Camel Racing Festival. This support aims to strengthen the culture of heritage celebrations, which play a vital role in educating generations, preserving heritage, and safeguarding genuine customs and traditions.
His Highness praised the efforts of the Supreme Festival Organizing Committee for their excellent preparation and organization, which contributed to the success of the first edition of the event. He congratulated the winners and wished all participants good luck and success in future races.
The final day of the festival saw "Oslin" crowned as the first symbol of the broadcasting era, with Abdulaziz Saif Suwailem Al-Ketbi winning the First-Born Broadcasting Cup in the main race. Abdulaziz Saif Sweilem Al-Ketbi's slogan secured a second consecutive symbol after "Shawash" wrested the broadcasting gun from Al-Jadaan Al-Maftah in the second half. "Nada" managed to overtake Khalifa Sultan Belrasheed Al-Suwaidi Namous and claim the title in the third round in the closing moments, qualifying for the Al-Bakr Broadcasting Cup in the production category.
In the fourth round of Al-Jaadan Al-Intaj symbols, "Manzah" by Hamad Jarallah Al-Baridi triumphed with the halftime symbol, "Shaddad." Abdullah Mohammed Zayed Al-Mansouri's "Madhayar" successfully secured the victory in the fifth round designated for the Al-Abakar Radio code, while "Al-Nashmi" claimed the Al-Jaadan Broadcasting code in the sixth round to guide its owner, Ahmed Obaid, with Al-Noura Al-Amiri by its side.
The seventh round of symbols for Al-Abkar Al-Production radio, "Shadayed," carried off the cup and presented Amer Mohammed Zayed Al-Mansouri's logo. The era of broadcasting symbols came to a close with "Shadid," and Shaddad Al-Jaadan won the production in the festival's eighth round.
