Conversational Assistants: Ideta Announces Acquisition of Clevy, Another Player in the Field

Conversational Assistants: Ideta Announces Acquisition of Clevy, Another Player in the Field: Ideta, a provider of no-code SaaS and on-premise solutions empowering businesses to automate their processes and create custom conversational agents, recently announced the acquisition of Clevy, a significant player in the development of conversational assistants for communities and large enterprises. This strategic move strengthens Ideta's position with the aim of becoming the benchmark in the no-code solutions space for creating AI assistants, chatbots, and callbots.

Founded in 2017 by Yanis Kerdjana and Sarah Martineau, Ideta offers a suite of no-code software facilitating the creation of chatbots, webhooks, and AI assistants. It integrates cutting-edge natural language processing technologies, including those from Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, and Mistral. Currently serving over 25,000 users globally, the startup collaborates with businesses of all sizes, such as Transdev, Alinéa, or CNAM.

Clevy, established in 2017 by Salim Jernite (CEO), Bastien Botella (COO), and François Sechet (CTO), supports renowned clients like Danone, Axa, Capgemini, or SNCF in their digital transformation projects through conversational assistants. This acquisition not only expands Ideta's client portfolio but also accelerates its growth in new markets, particularly in the public sector and among CAC 40 companies where Clevy has showcased its expertise.

According to Ideta, this initiative aligns with a broader acquisition strategy aiming to consolidate the chatbot market and establish itself as the undisputed leader in AI conversational assistant solutions.

Sarah Martineau, CEO of Ideta, emphasizes the significance of this operation:

"This acquisition represents a major milestone for Ideta. It allows us to expedite our growth and strengthen our presence in new key markets. Our goal is to become the go-to player in conversational assistant creation, and the acquisition of Clevy is a decisive step toward realizing this ambition."
