ADNOC Distribution Opens 3 Brand Stations in Egypt
Abu Dhabi, September 23rd - ADNOC Distribution announced today the opening of three service stations bearing the ADNOC brand in Egypt, strategically located in key areas within Greater Cairo. These stations offer a comprehensive range of automotive care services to local communities.
The company plans to open an additional six service stations under the ADNOC brand throughout Egypt by the end of 2023. This expansion follows their acquisition earlier this year of a 50% stake in Total Energies Marketing Egypt S.A.E.
The opening ceremony took place at the ADNOC service station in Maadi, Cairo, and was attended by prominent figures, including Engineer Tarek El Molla, the Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Her Excellency Mariam Al Kaabi, the UAE Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Khaled Abdel Aal, the Governor of Cairo, and Mr. Alaa El Batel, the CEO of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation.

As part of their expansion, the company has also introduced the unique concept of "ADNOC Oasis Stores" to offer customers an unparalleled shopping experience. These stores provide a wide range of food and beverages, tailored to suit the preferences of Egyptian customers, including specialty coffee - 100% Arabica, bearing the ADNOC Distribution label.

The joint venture encompasses a diverse business portfolio in the refining and petrochemical sector, including over 240 retail fuel stations, over 100 retail stores, more than 250 oil change facilities, car wash centers, wholesale fuel, aviation fuel, and lubricant oil blending operations.
The partnership has successfully expanded its aviation fuel business by securing the fuel supply franchise for Etihad Airways in Cairo.
Additionally, the partnership is currently working on developing the infrastructure and logistics framework to launch "ADNOC Voyager Oils," a range of premium lubricant oils endorsed by automotive manufacturers. These products will be available to customers at ADNOC service stations in Egypt, as well as in the local lubricant oil market. The newly opened ADNOC service stations in Egypt operate around the clock, seven days a week, providing a comprehensive range of automotive care services, including car wash facilities, oil change services, and tire replacement. Maintenance services are available at the Maadi and Obour City service stations.
The three stations also feature ADNOC Oasis Stores, offering a wide range of food and beverages, including fresh meals and pastries, along with made-to-order specialty coffee.
ADNOC Distribution's expansion in Egypt is a significant step forward in implementing its growth and international expansion strategy. In line with their smart growth strategy, the company opened its first stations outside of the UAE in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2018.
