Organized by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) of the Thai Ministry of Commerce, this event stood as a beacon of Thailand's cinematic prowess amid the esteemed Cannes Film Festival.
Under the distinguished patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Ubolratana Rajakanya Sirivadhana Barnavadi, the gala showcased the remarkable growth and success of the Thai film industry in recent years. From riveting horror films to compelling dramas and inclusive LGBTQ+ narratives, Thai cinema has captivated audiences both at home and abroad.
The "Thai Night" gala was a gathering of over 300 luminaries from the global film community, including buyers, directors, investors, platform owners, actors, celebrities, and media representatives from the United States, United Kingdom, France, Japan, Canada, and numerous other countries. It provided a platform for Thai filmmakers to present their works, forge connections, and explore commercial opportunities under the theme "Inspiring Thailand."
