The potential sale of AS Monaco remains speculative, but it could herald a return for Luis Campos, potentially as the club's next president.
Earlier this year, ASM owner Dmitry Rybolovlev, through a statement from his family office seen by Get French Football News, announced plans to explore strategic options for the club after receiving unsolicited interest. The Raine Group is advising on the process, with several offers currently under consideration for the Principality club.
Recent diplomatic and economic developments have seen improved relations between Saudi Arabia and Monaco. Consequently, the Princely Palace views Saudi interest in ASM favorably. Reports from L'Équipe, confirmed by Get French Football News, suggest that if Rybolovlev decides to sell Monaco and Saudi Arabia completes the acquisition, they intend to appoint Luis Campos as the club's president. Campos, currently PSG's sporting director but maintaining strong ties with Monaco from his previous role, would potentially return to oversee ASM's future.
