HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Inaugurates Bahrain Comic Con 2023
Under the auspices of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, the fourth installment of Bahrain Comic Con commenced today at the Bahrain International Circuit.
The offspring of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa graced the opening ceremony of Bahrain Comic Con, the largest cultural exhibition in the kingdom. The event is organized by Dallah company and receives support from the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA).
HH Shaikh Khalid highlighted that Bahrain Comic Con 2023 stands as one of the most significant local events, offering a rich entertainment and youth program that captivates the interest of many. Notably, it is gaining increasing recognition for attracting international celebrities, stars, and influential figures.
A multitude of enthusiasts of video games, comic books, and iconic characters from various TV series, science fiction, animation, and manga genres will relish an action-packed schedule featuring celebrity autograph sessions, animation exhibitions, innovative character showcases, e-sports tournaments, board game lounges, direct sales outlets, and more.
This year's edition boasts an exclusive roster of Hollywood film stars, Netflix series luminaries, and the foremost voices from global video game studios.
The distinguished guest of honor for the 2023 edition is Alexander Ludwig, renowned for his portrayal of "Bjorn" in the historical drama series "Vikings."
Among other notable celebrities participating are Ed Westwick (Gossip Girl), Lochlyn Munro (Riverdale), Cooper Andrews (Walking Dead), Carolina Ravassa (Overwatch and Valorant), Karen Fukuhara (The Boys), and David Angelo (Rick and Morty).
