Wally Celebrates 30 Years with wallywind110 Debut at Monaco Yacht Show 2024
The prestigious yacht brand Wally is set to make a lasting impression at the Monaco Yacht Show 2024, taking place from September 25 to 28. This event is particularly special as Wally celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. On this occasion, the brand will unveil the world premiere of its new sailing model, the wallywind110, the first in a promising range that will also include the wallywind130 and wallywind150.
The wallywind110 represents the culmination of a project launched in 2022, shortly after Wally joined the Ferretti Group. Construction of a second wallywind110 is already underway, reflecting the anticipated success of this new line. This sailing yacht stands out with its fully carbon hull, coated in a shiny metallic paint with blue reflections that change according to the light. These visual features are sure to catch the eye of visitors at the Monaco Yacht Show.
The technical innovations of the wallywind110 include a 6.95-meter telescopic keel, carbon fiber twin rudders, and an imposing 48-meter Hall Spars rig. These elements confirm Wally’s commitment to remaining competitive in the sailing yacht industry.
The wallywind110 perfectly embodies Wally's timeless style, combining comfort and performance. The naval architecture, designed by judel/vrolijk & co, harmoniously integrates with the interior and exterior design crafted by Wally's team under the direction of Luca Bassani, in collaboration with the Santa Maria Magnolfi studio.
One of the standout features of the wallywind110 is its spacious cockpit, with dimensions comparable to those of 60-meter sailing superyachts. Guests will be able to relax on several sofas, sunbeds, and seating, spread over a living space of 80 square meters. An additional lounge is located on the "sea terrace," and another is situated on the foredeck, offering luxurious and varied relaxation spaces.
The innovative design of the engine room, located beneath the saloon, has created an open and light-filled interior space. Natural light floods the rooms through the hull windows, deckhouse windows, and skylight, illuminating the dining area, the lounge, and even the office.
The wallywind110 promises to be one of the major attractions at the Monaco Yacht Show 2024. It is a yacht that must be discovered for yachting enthusiasts and luxury lovers alike.
