Mohammed bin Rashid Presides Over Swearing-In Ceremony of New Judges at Dubai Courts

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, presided over the swearing-in ceremony for 34 new judges appointed to the Dubai Courts at the Union House in Dubai.

The ceremony was attended by prominent figures, including His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence of the UAE, as well as Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai. Also present were His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Finance of the UAE, and Chairman of the Dubai Judicial Council; His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai; and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

During the ceremony, Sheikh Mohammed wished the newly appointed judges success in fulfilling their duties. He emphasized the pivotal role they will play in enhancing the standards of Dubai’s judicial system and highlighted their crucial responsibility in upholding fairness, protecting society, and maintaining the rule of law.

Sheikh Mohammed underscored that justice is fundamental for maintaining social security and sustaining the UAE's progress and prosperity. He also reaffirmed his confidence in Dubai’s judicial system, expressing his commitment to ensuring that it remains a model of integrity and efficiency in safeguarding rights and upholding justice.

In response, the newly appointed judges expressed their deep gratitude for the trust placed in them and committed to performing their duties with integrity and dedication. They pledged to uphold justice, protect the rule of law, and carry out their responsibilities with the utmost honesty.

The ceremony was also attended by senior officials, including His Excellency Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director General of HH The Dubai Ruler's Court and Vice Chairman of the Dubai Judicial Council; His Excellency Essam Issa Al Humaidan, Attorney General of Dubai; His Excellency Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director General of Dubai Courts; and His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Al-Sabousi, Secretary-General of the Dubai Judicial Council.
