The Royal Grammar School Guildford Dubai (RGSGD) has announced the appointment of Matthew Pearce as its new Principal, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to the British curriculum school.
With over 20 years of leadership experience in education, Mr Pearce joins RGSGD from The Glasgow Academy, where he served as Rector. His distinguished career includes previous leadership roles at Bishopbriggs Academy, which was recognized as State School of the Decade by The Sunday Times.
In his new role, Mr Pearce is committed to continuing RGSGD’s tradition of academic excellence while ensuring outstanding pastoral care and nurturing the values and skills necessary for success in today’s fast-paced world. "Together, we will continue to build an environment that fosters both academic achievement and personal growth," Mr Pearce shared. "I look forward to working with our pupils, staff, and parents, and am excited to call Dubai my new home, embracing all the opportunities the region has to offer."
Mr Pearce will officially assume his new position after the half-term break in February, marking a new chapter in RGSGD's leadership and educational journey. His extensive background in education and commitment to fostering a supportive and dynamic learning environment is expected to further elevate the school’s offerings and community engagement.
