Dubai South, the largest urban master development focused on aviation, logistics, and real estate, has partnered with UPS, a global logistics leader, to open a new facility in Dubai South’s Logistics District. This move is part of UPS’s strategic expansion in the region.
The agreement was signed by Tariq Badri, Director of Business Development and Investor Relations at Dubai South, and Andrew Sleiman, VP Legal for India Subcontinent, Middle East & Africa, with the presence of Mohsen Ahmad, CEO of the Logistics District, Dubai South, and Ismet Demirel, VP of Transportation for the region.
The new facility will enhance UPS’s operational capacity in the UAE, facilitating stronger international trade links through UPS’s extensive global network. The facility is scheduled to be completed and operational before the end of the year.

Dubai South’s Logistics District, a beacon of logistical innovation, offers premier services with direct access to Jebel Ali Port via a bonded logistics corridor. The district includes multiple zones, including a direct link to the cargo terminals at Al Maktoum International Airport, a fully dedicated e-commerce free zone (EZDubai), and a Contract Logistics Zone.
