Emirates has announced its plans to operate its updated Boeing 777 aircraft on two additional daily flights between Dubai and Riyadh, starting March 30 and May 7, respectively. With this addition, Riyadh will become the first destination in the Middle East and GCC region, as well as one of the few destinations in Emirates' network, to be served exclusively by the airline's updated Boeing 777 aircraft on all its flights.
The updated aircraft will begin operating on Emirates' second flight, EK 815 and EK 816, starting March 30, 2025. From May 7, 2025, the airline will also operate the updated Boeing 777 on its third flight, EK 817 and EK 818, with six weekly flights, becoming a daily service starting August 11, 2025.
The updated Boeing 777s feature enhanced premium economy seats in a 2-4-2 layout, providing improved comfort and space. Business class cabins offer a 1-2-1 layout with direct aisle access for each passenger, enhancing privacy and comfort. The aircraft also boasts luxurious first-class suites and a modernized economy class cabin design.
