Dubai’s Burj Al Arab is not just an architectural marvel—it’s also a destination for a world-class afternoon tea experience. Guests can choose between Sahn Eddar, nestled in the hotel’s grand atrium, or the Skyview Bar for panoramic city and sea views.
Sahn Eddar combines luxury décor with live performances, creating an immersive experience. Afternoon Tea includes a seven-course menu: finger sandwiches, a chef’s carvery, French pastries, berries tarts, scones with clotted cream and preserves, and sorbet. Beverages include teas, coffees, juices, soft drinks, and optional champagne.
High Tea offers a three-course experience emphasizing traditional afternoon tea components, with petit fours, scones, and French pastries paired with cocktails, teas, and coffees.
Skyview Bar provides a refined selection of pastries, cakes, teas, coffees, and homemade jams, complemented by sweeping views of Dubai. Champagne can be added to heighten the luxury experience.
Tea service runs from 1 pm to 6 pm, lasting approximately 90 minutes, while High Tea starts at 7 pm for around one hour. Costs range from 500 AED per person at Skyview Bar to 635 AED at Sahn Eddar with champagne. Private tours with tea from 3 pm to 5 pm cost 429 AED.
Guests should wear smart casual attire: closed shoes for men and dresses with flats or sandals for women. A shawl or cardigan is recommended. Advance reservations are required, and dietary needs can be accommodated with prior notice.
Afternoon tea at Burj Al Arab is more than a meal—it’s an experience that blends sophisticated cuisine, stunning views, and impeccable service, creating memories that last long after the last sip of tea.
