This week offers the best travel deals for UAE residents this summer Planning a budget-friendly vacation while still enjoying a paradise getaway? Skyscanner has unveiled its top money-saving tips for UAE residents heading abroad this summer.

What's even more surprising is that, according to Skyscanner, only four percent of UAE residents take advantage of these opportune dates...

So, without further delay, the most economical week for travel from the UAE this summer falls on the week of August 19. Compared to July, this week can save a family of four an average of Dhs760, so it might be worth reconsidering your travel dates. Skyscanner's Savings Generator has revealed that the first two weeks of summer holidays are the most popular travel dates but also the most expensive.

Additional money-saving tips... Not only do the dates play a significant role, but the day of the week matters as well. According to the savings generator, traveling on a Friday can yield even greater savings for holiday-goers when booking their flights.

For instance, flying to Turkey on a Friday instead of a Saturday can save a family of four an average of Dhs669 on their round-trip travel in July and August.

Travel inspiration... Regional airlines have added 15 exciting new flight routes in 2023. From Thailand to Italy, Greece to India, UAE residents can now fly directly to incredible new destinations that are on everyone's bucket list.

And here's some great news for those flying with either Emirates or Etihad Airways, both UAE-based carriers. These two airlines have been ranked among the top ten airlines in the world.

Emirates, Dubai's flagship airline, has jumped six places from last year to secure the tenth spot, while Etihad Airways, based in Abu Dhabi, maintains its strong position in third place.
