Saudi Arabia Pioneers World First Charity Subscription Campaign to Provide Homes for Needy Families
In an unprecedented move, Saudi Arabia has introduced the world inaugural charity subscription campaign, aimed at raising one billion riyals to secure homes for vulnerable families within the nation.
This innovative initiative bears resemblance to a conventional share subscription, with participants having the opportunity to subscribe for shares totaling 100 million, each valued at 10 riyals. However, it important to note that these shares are devoid of monetary returns, instead focusing on generating community charitable impacts by ensuring the provision of homes for those in dire need.
The esteemed Jood subscription campaign was inaugurated by none other than King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman. Both dignitaries exemplified their dedication to this vital cause by donating substantial sums, with King Salman contributing SR100 million and Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman contributing SR50 million.
The campaign itself was orchestrated under the banner of the Jood Al Iskan platform, as part of Saudi Arabia ongoing endeavors to offer housing solutions to the most deserving and underprivileged families.
The Honorable Majed Al Hogail, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, officially unveiled the campaign. He underscored that the gracious royal donations epitomize unwavering support for pioneering humanitarian ventures, which seamlessly integrate the roles of governmental bodies, private sector entities, and non-profit organizations.
This multidimensional approach further solidifies the commitment to uplifting the quality of life for Saudi Arabia most vulnerable citizens through collective efforts.
This groundbreaking charity subscription campaign not only serves as a remarkable testament to Saudi Arabia dedication to alleviating housing challenges for those in need but also sets a precedent for innovative social initiatives on a global scale.
