Abu Dhabi Police and Red Crescent Distribute School Supplies in "Our Children Trust" Campaign
ABU DHABI, October 15 - The Traffic and Patrols Directorate of the Abu Dhabi Police General Command, in collaboration with the Emirates Red Crescent Authority and the Al Fahim Group, has launched an initiative to distribute school gifts, including backpacks, wallets, and pens, to a number of children and families as part of the "Our Children Trust" campaign, aiming to strengthen the values of generosity and social solidarity.
During the event, students got to learn about the Children's Patrol and its goals regarding traffic awareness and culture.
Brigadier General Mahmoud Yousef Al Balushi, Director of the Traffic and Patrols Directorate, explained that the initiative is aligned with the approach of the late founding father of the state, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, in promoting social solidarity and contributing to the strategy of the Abu Dhabi Police in making community members happy and enhancing the quality of life for all.
Salem Sultan Al Suwaidi, Director of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority - Abu Dhabi Center, commended the fruitful cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Police in various community and humanitarian activities, noting that this initiative is part of the joint efforts of both parties to bring joy and happiness to the hearts of students.
Families and children who benefited from the initiative expressed their appreciation and gratitude for this humanitarian gesture from the Abu Dhabi Police, the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, and the Al Fahim Group.
