Abdullah bin Zayed and Romania Foreign Minister Discuss Humanitarian Situations in the Region
Abu Dhabi, October 20 – His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, engaged in a telephone conversation with Her Excellency Luminița Odobescu, the Foreign Minister of Romania. The discussion revolved around the developments in the region and the strategies for establishing secure corridors to deliver humanitarian aid to civilians.
They deliberated on regional and international efforts aimed at containing the situation and preventing its escalation. Both leaders emphasized the paramount importance of safeguarding the lives of all civilians while working towards ending extremism, escalation, and violence in the region.
During the phone call, the two sides also reviewed several mutual areas of interest linked to the bilateral relations between the two countries. This communication underscores the commitment of the UAE and Romania to address humanitarian concerns and promote stability in the region.
