Kuwait Reiterates Full Support for UN Rule of Law Initiatives

The State of Kuwait has reaffirmed its strong commitment to the United Nations' efforts aimed at promoting the fundamental principle of the rule of law. This principle, which serves as a cornerstone for fostering security, stability, and prosperity on national, regional, and international scales, was the focal point of a recent speech delivered by Kuwait's Diplomatic Attaché, Abdullah Al-Harbi.

Al-Harbi's remarks came during a meeting of the Sixth Committee of the UN General Assembly, where discussions centered on the application of the rule of law principles at both national and international levels. In his address, he underscored the universal obligation of all countries to adhere to the rule of law and stressed the importance of aligning this principle with international charters, laws, and norms.

The diplomat emphasized that the concept of the rule of law is deeply rooted in the United Nations Charter, which explicitly outlines the organization's mission to create the necessary conditions for achieving justice and upholding the commitments enshrined in international treaties.

Kuwait's unwavering support for these UN initiatives reflects the nation's dedication to advancing global peace, stability, and prosperity through the rule of law. This commitment underscores the critical role the rule of law plays in addressing international challenges and conflicts while fostering a more just and secure world for all.
