FinMark Communications Launches the Second Episode of the "Design Your Future" Podcast
Manama - "Design Your Future," a project initiated by FinMark Communications with the backing of Lead Partner CrediMax, has unveiled the release of its second podcast episode. The episode features Mrs. Fatema Ahmed Kamal, Chief Executive Officer of Britus Education, and was broadcasted at Harbour House in the presence of CEOs and senior leaders from the private and public sectors.
The second episode was hosted by Ms. Zahraa Taher, Managing Director of FinMark Communications. As with each episode, a promising young student also participated in the discussion.
Joining the conversation in the second episode was Hashim Al-Majed, an Electronics Engineering Student and the Ex-Chairman of IEEE at Bahrain Polytechnic Student Branch, as well as a member of the Advisory Committee in the "Design Your Future Campaign." The lively discussion revolved around Mrs. Kamal insights into the significance of university life and extracurricular activities and how they impact students by refining and showcasing their skills.
Mrs. Kamal emphasized that students who solely focus on academics and overlook participation in extracurricular activities miss out on numerous opportunities to acquire essential skills and practical experiences that would aid them in launching their professional careers effectively. She stressed the importance of students dedicating more time at the onset of their careers to self-development, reading, and learning about the workplace.
The "Design Your Future" initiative was introduced in February 2023 with the objective of bolstering the Kingdom of Bahrain endeavors to expedite human capital development and cultivate a highly qualified and skilled national workforce, in line with Bahrain Economic Vision 2030.
The initiative encourages and supports high school graduates, university students, and individuals enrolled in vocational training programs to take a proactive role in planning and shaping their future. The initiative encompasses a podcast series, various skills development days, and other programs designed to equip students with essential core competencies and attributes necessary for achieving success.
