Dubai Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Distinguished Academic Performance (HRMFDAP) Strengthens Collaboration with UNESCO Regional Centre for Quality Education
A significant step towards enhancing education and research cooperation has been taken as the Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Distinguished Academic Performance (HRMFDAP) and the UNESCO Regional Centre for Quality and Excellence in Education signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU).
This milestone agreement solidifies the commitment of both entities to work together for the advancement of education and the promotion of quality and excellence in the sector.
The MoU was formalized during the Global Forum for Innovation in Education, a prestigious event held at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The signing ceremony was conducted by Dr. Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Secretary-General of HRMFDAP, and Dr. Abdulrahman Almedaires, Director-General of UNESCO Regional Centre for Quality and Excellence in Education.
The memorandum outlines several areas of collaboration between HRMFDAP and UNESCO Regional Centre for Quality and Excellence in Education. These include the exchange of educational and research publications related to quality, excellence, innovation, and creativity.
Both organizations also commit to jointly implementing projects and initiatives, as well as organizing events like conferences, seminars, and meetings to foster knowledge exchange and innovation in the education sector.
Dr. Al Suwaidi emphasized the significance of this partnership, aligning with the visionary leadership of the UAE and their dedication to advancing education quality and innovation.
He expressed his belief in the positive impact that the collaboration will have on education and knowledge fields, enhancing the quality of education and fostering innovation in the sector.
Dr. Almedaires highlighted the importance of promoting a culture of quality and excellence in education. He praised the collaboration as an opportunity to enhance educational institutions and underscored the commitment of the UNESCO Regional Centre for Quality and Excellence in Education to supporting quality concepts and improving the educational landscape across Arab countries.
