Suhail Al Mazrouei Leads UAE Delegation to the Kyrgyz Republic
His Excellency Suhail bin Mohammed Faraj Faris Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, spearheaded a high-level state delegation to the friendly Kyrgyz Republic. During his visit, he held several high-level meetings to explore opportunities for strengthening cooperation between the two countries across various domains, aiming to elevate the level of relations. This aligns with the aspirations of the leaders of both friendly nations.
President Sader Japarov of the Kyrgyz Republic received His Excellency Suhail Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, along with the accompanying delegation. The meeting was also attended by His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Al-Ariqi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the non-resident Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Kyrgyzstan.
At the outset of the meeting, His Excellency the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs, and offered their wishes for the leaders of the Kyrgyz Republic and its friendly people for further progress and prosperity.
The meeting delved into mechanisms for strengthening joint cooperation across various areas, including renewable energy, transportation, and logistics services.
His Excellency Suhail Al Mazrouei also met with His Excellency Aqalbek Japarov, Prime Minister and Chief of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic. During the meeting, they discussed the developments in bilateral relations, reviewed the outcomes of the state delegation's meetings during the visit, and emphasized the importance of establishing a mechanism to facilitate the enhancement of economic and investment relations.
At the conclusion of the visit, His Excellency Al Mazrouei and the accompanying delegation, along with His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Al-Ariqi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Kazakhstan and non-resident Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Kyrgyzstan, met with their Kyrgyz counterpart, His Excellency Talaybek Ibrayev, Minister of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic. They underscored the UAE's keen interest in developing relations in the field of energy and renewable energy. Masdar, the UAE-based clean energy company, expressed its intent to invest in renewable energy projects in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The UAE delegation included high-ranking representatives from government agencies and the private sector, with participation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, the Abu Dhabi Development Fund, Masdar Company, Abu Dhabi Ports Group, and Terminals Holding Company.
