Dubai Public Prosecutor, His Excellency Essam Isa Al-Humaidan, issued a decree on Thursday, prohibiting the dissemination or publication of any information or images related to the incident of a seventh-grade child's death, taking into consideration the circumstances and the feelings of the deceased's family.
This ban covers all forms of media, including print, audio, visual, and social media, whether by natural or legal persons.
The decree also prohibits expressing opinions or commenting on the incident until the final resolution of the case.
This decision comes in the wake of false information circulating on social media platforms regarding the incident.
His Excellency the Public Prosecutor emphasized that such matters raise concerns and create unrest in society, and anyone who shares or circulates them may face legal consequences, in the interest of the public good.
