Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has resumed its direct flights to Düsseldorf International Airport in Germany by launching its inaugural flight last Thursday. With this development, Düsseldorf becomes the third destination in Germany for Etihad Airways, joining Munich and Frankfurt.
The resumption of air travel serves to strengthen the close relations between the United Arab Emirates and Germany, specifically the North Rhine-Westphalia region. As part of this cooperation, three weekly flights will be initiated to reestablish the connection between Abu Dhabi and Düsseldorf.
